Currently Kelda is a thesis-based Master’s student studying occupational science at Dalhousie University in Canada.
Research Interests
Kelda’s research interests include neurodiversity-aware methodology, the occupation of play in adulthood, and non-sanctioned occupations.
Employment
Kelda is a research assistant on a national SSHRC Insight Grant-funded study titled “Representing (de)polarised understandings of substance use across lived experience, medical, and legal perspectives” under grant recipient Dr. Niki Kiepek.

Years of experience in the tabletop boardgame and RPG areas, including competitive, cooperative, and solo gaming contribute to Kelda’s understanding of play as an occupation beyond childhood. She has been a playtester for popular games such as Scythe and Dead Men Tell No Tales, leading playtests with small groups and testing single-player modes.
